Hi. I’m Payam.
The real one.
Software engineer in Toronto. Curious about a lot of things.
I like building software that feels good to use, and understanding the small decisions that make it work. That curiosity spills into side projects, from chess engines to word games.
My engineering background includes full-stack work with React, Ruby on Rails, and Python, and experience at StackAdapt and the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation. I’m a University of Toronto alumnus.
Life has other tabs.
Books, films, and time on the water all belong here too. I sail when I get the chance, read a lot, and enjoy following an idea a little further than I originally intended.
This site is a home for that mix. Have a look around, try a project, or send a hello.
